A Calling Card or Prepaid Phone Card is a cardboard or plastic card which contains a pin number on it that can be used to pay for telephone calls. A calling card is used to provide cheaper communications than a normal phone service. It is usually used to make cheaper International Calls.
Pinless Calling is similar to a calling card in that it used used to pay for telephone calls. The main difference is that with a Calling Card, a caller is identified by a unique pin number that is given to them, where Pinless Calling uses the Caller's Phone Number (Caller ID) to identify them. Pinless Calling allows caller's to avoid entering the cumbersome pin numbers.
As ITSP is an Internet Telephone Service Provider. For Example, Vonage would be considered an ITSP. An ITSP would provide phone service to a customer via the Internet rather than the traditional phone service where they would run analog phone lines. An ITSP would be able to provide the same features as a traditional phone service.
An IP PBX is a Phone System which runs over a computer network. This allows the users of the phone system to be accessible anywhere the computer network is accessible. For example a user could be working from home, hotel or the office and they would be available to make or receive calls. IP PBX's today have built in IVR, Voicemails, Conferencing & all other required phone system features.
CallBack is used as opposed to typical prepaid or postpaid calling platforms is simply to avoid international legality issues. With Callback you would Dial your access number the same way you would dial a US phone number from your country. After dialing the access number, wait for the first ring and hang up the phone. In a few seconds, your phone will ring, and there will be a message prompting you to dial your destination number.
Since VoIP, calling cards, and calling services are illegal in so many countries throughout the world, CallBack allows the system Admin to place the equipment in a legal country and make the call from there. The idea is to do all of the outgoing calling from a legal country where lines are more obtainable and international calling rates are cheaper.
A Callshop is a place where people can go to make telephone calls. The owner of the callshop will be able to get a report on the calls that are being made and bill for the calls in advance or when the caller is done making their calls.
